This Island chain and its reef has claimed many ships... Including the one that carried John Kamsey the only survivor of a ship that struck the reef during a horrific storm... He later washed up on this islands shores, and continued to live on it for a year... Until he was finally rescued. During the time he was there his only friend was a straw figure that he made and named Bruce....
