About

Dodge Professional Modification

Dodge Professional Modification (DPM) is currently a single player trick jumping mod for UT2004. DPM does not alter the physics, weapons, or jump capabilities of UT2004. This allows players to apply the skills learned while playing DPM to other UT2004 game types.

The goal of DPM is to finish specially designed trick jumping maps as quickly as possible. A timer tracks exactly how long it takes for a player to complete one of the DPM maps. Demos are automatically recorded when the player is ready and these demo can be uploaded to our site. These demos will then be sorted and ranked by completion time to form a world-wide player ranking.

Starter Pack

so what is this? Well.. we decided that some people proberbly dont want to download the entire DPM Mod in one go, its not far off a gig in size and if you dont like dpm.. you cannot simply remove it without spending a good while deleteing many files. so we made this, its a starter pack, a sample of DPM. this pack contains

  1. The DPM GameType
  2. 28 Maps
  3. 8 Guide Demo's

all you need to play these maps and gametype is just the basic UT2004 install patched to the latest patch. no other files needed, so its very small. the maps included are aimed more towards newer DPM tricker's. they are NightMans NMMini maps for complete beginners, and the more challenging NMShort Maps for when you get the hang of it. also included is 3xMasta2 as its an awsome map for shield climbing practice. altho these are the very basic maps for dpm, there are far more challenging ones in the main pack, this is just a sample for new trick jumpers :) of course if you wish to also try the other game types DPM2 and DPMCTF you will need to download the full DPM pack.
